Tuition Fees & Housing Costs

Tuition

The tuition fee for “U.S. Legal Methods: Introduction to U.S. Law” is $3,495, which includes course material and a variety of professional and social activities.

Persons also registering for our “U.S. Legal English” program (July 18 – 27, 2019) receive a $400 discount off the combined multi-program regular tuition fee amount

Housing

The Institute for U.S. Law can assist participants in reserving corporate apartment suite housing accommodations located within walking distance to the classrooms (i.e., near the George Washington University Law School) as well as to various D.C. attractions.  We have arranged for discounted rates at high-quality nearby apartment-suite hotels with prices ranging from $69-$74 per person per night for a shared two-room suite to $130-$138/night for a one-room studio/efficiency suite.  All suites come equipped with a full kitchen and include free wifi, free local calls and a complimentary breakfast included.  More information and reservation procedures will be provided after you have pre-registered for the program.

The shared two-room suite option assumes you would share with another IUSLAW program participant (which we facilitate). The suite includes one king/queen-size bed in the bedroom plus one full/queen-size pull-out sofa-bed in a separate room.

The one-room studio/efficiency suite option includes one king-size bed and is sufficient for a couple traveling together.

Early registration will increase the chances of securing one’s preferred housing choice.  Other housing options may be available, including perhaps less expensive (and less conveniently located) accommodations found on the internet. Costs will vary depending on location and amenities.  For more information or assistance regarding housing, please email us.
